This Terms of Use agreement ("Agreement") governs your use of the resume writing services ("Service") provided by ScanMyCV ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you accept and agree to be bound by this Agreement and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use the Service.
2. Description of Services
Our platform provides professional resume writing, editing, and career consultation services. The Service includes AI-assisted resume generation, personalized resume review, and formatting. While we strive to deliver high-quality content, we do not guarantee employment or specific job outcomes. Users are responsible for providing accurate career details and reviewing the final resume before use.
3. User Responsibilities
Users must provide accurate and complete information when using the Service. You agree not to misuse the platform or submit fraudulent, misleading, or defamatory content. It is the user's responsibility to verify the accuracy of the final resume and ensure that it aligns with their career history and qualifications.
4. Payments, Fees, and Refund Policy
Our resume writing services require payment before work begins. By placing an order, you agree to pay the specified fees outlined in our Payment Terms.
Payment Terms
- Payment Processing: Payments are processed securely through third-party payment gateways. The Company does not store credit card details.
- Refunds: All payments for resume writing services are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If you encounter an issue with the service, you may contact our support team within 7 days of delivery for resolution.
- Chargebacks and Disputes: Unauthorized chargebacks may result in the suspension of your account. If you believe a charge was incorrect, please contact us before disputing it with your bank.
5. Resume Revisions
We provide unlimited resume revisions for the first 7 days following resume delivery by email or the resume creation date in your ScanMyCV account. You are responsible for checking your email inbox or logging into your ScanMyCV account to verify if your resume is ready.
- Delivery & Notifications: Once your resume is created, its creation timestamp will be available in your ScanMyCV account. You will also receive an email notification. However, due to potential spam filtering by your email provider, we cannot guarantee email delivery.
- Revision Period: From the resume creation timestamp, you have 7 days to request unlimited revisions.
- Revision Process: There may be a gap between revisions to prevent overlapping information and ensure quality improvements.
- Missed Revision Deadline: If you do not request revisions within the 7-day period, additional changes may require a separate service request and could be subject to additional charges.
6. Delivery of Services
Resumes and related services are delivered digitally. Users will receive a download link via email once the resume is completed, or they may log in to their ScanMyCV account to download their resume directly.
- Delivery Time: The estimated delivery time depends on the option chosen at the time of placing the order. Faster delivery options may be available at an additional charge.
- Download Access: Completed resumes will be available for download for an unlimited time. Users can access and download their resumes at any time by logging into their ScanMyCV account
- Revision Process: There may be a gap between revisions to prevent overlapping information and ensure quality improvements.
- *Revisions and Modifications: Users may request revisions within a limited period as per the revision policy stated at the time of purchase.
7. Privacy Policy

8. AI Usage Terms

9. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of Dubai, UAE. Users agree that any legal actions or proceedings shall be exclusively filed in the courts of Dubai, UAE..
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Use at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
